Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Jacobsen (ranked 4109 p4p, 5523 weight class) and Mike Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Jacobsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacobsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chandler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jacobsen shoots in and gets a takedown into Chandler's guard.
Jacobsen looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Chandler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacobsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jacobsen works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacobsen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jacobsen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Chandler is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chandler on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Jacobsen advances to full mount.
Jacobsen lands a nice shot to the head.
Jacobsen looking to control but Chandler is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
We've been informed that Chandler has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Jacobsen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Jacobsen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chandler to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chandler shrugs it off.
Jacobsen is trying to take his opponent's back.
Jacobsen looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Chandler tries to lock up and control but Jacobsen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Chandler is bucking up trying to escape but Jacobsen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacobsen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Jacobsen dominated that round.

Jacobsen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chandler's guard.
Jacobsen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jacobsen distracts Chandler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Chandler keeping moving, preventing Jacobsen from controlling successfully.
Jacobsen passes Chandler's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jacobsen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jacobsen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chandler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jacobsen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Chandler is breathing heavily.

Jacobsen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chandler's face.
Jacobsen is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Chandler is in real trouble.
Chandler won't enjoy being in this position. Jacobsen looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Chandler is tapping - it's over boys! Jacobsen picks up the submission victory!
