Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to National Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, George Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Pablo Bradley! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bradley. Bradley doesn't manage to clinch there - Diaz circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Diaz. Bradley gets back to half guard. Diaz stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bradley to get to his feet. Diaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Diaz clinches up against the cage. Diaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bradley just stands there and leans against the cage. Bradley is pressed up against the cage. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bradley down to the mat. Bradley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Diaz avoids the head kick by Bradley.
Diaz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bradley tries to roll over but Diaz keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Diaz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Diaz thows a huge punch but Bradley dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bradley is trying to maintain the position but Diaz is very close to passing his half guard. Diaz blocks the strikes from Bradley.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bradley throws a head kick but Diaz moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bradley is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Bradley circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diaz is breathing heavily. Bradley rushes Diaz and presses him up against the cage. Diaz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bradley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bradley closes the distance and clinches. A nice right hand lands inside from Bradley. Bradley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Diaz just stands there and leans against the cage. Diaz fails to pull guard.

We're back to striking at a distance. George Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bradley throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bradley fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bradley looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Bradley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Diaz has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bradley pushes Diaz back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bradley comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like George Diaz has been cut. Bradley manages to pull guard.

Diaz wants to pass the guard but Bradley is keeping the position. Bradley controls Diaz momentarily but Diaz frees himself. Diaz stopping the sweep attempt from Bradley. Bradley is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up.

A close round but Pablo Bradley will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on George Diaz's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bradley scores with a takedown into Diaz's guard. Bradley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bradley digs a good hook to Diaz's body.
Bradley connects with a crisp jab. Bradley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bradley tries to break the clinch but Diaz is controlling the position. Diaz lands an elbow that stopped Bradley in his tracks for a moment. Bradley breaks the clinch.

No luck for Bradley with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bradley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard. Diaz keeping moving, preventing Bradley from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bradley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bradley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Diaz is working an open guard so Bradley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bradley tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range. Bradley throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Diaz. Bradley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. George Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Bradley. Bradley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bradley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bradley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bradley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diaz's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Bradley is very close to passing his half guard.

Bradley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Diaz fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pablo Bradley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on George Diaz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bradley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily. Bradley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Diaz looking for submissions off his back. Diaz tries to kick Bradley off but Bradley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bradley stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Bradley. Both fighters circling a little - Bradley finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Bradley tries to clinch up and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Diaz is keen to just control but Bradley is a slippery customer. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pablo Bradley. Well Bradley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
