PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mullen (ranked 4902 p4p, 3904 weight class) and Adriel Nayati (ranked 436 p4p, 413 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nayati's choice of entrance music: Indian Calling - At War. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nayati feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nayati is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mullen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mullen has escaped and now he's on top!

Nayati's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mullen is holding on here and Nayati must be using up a lot of energy. Mullen has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Nayati gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
