Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Richie Alaska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, CC Chai!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alaska moves in looking to clinch but Chai pushes him off.
Chai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An attempted straight right counter from Alaska misses the target.
Chai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alaska.
Alaska was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Alaska digs a good hook to Chai's body.
Chai jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Chai has closed the distance and engaged Alaska in a clinch.
Alaska looking to slow down the pace here.
Alaska blocking some punches.

Alaska decides to pull guard.

Alaska is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chai sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alaska is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chai postures up.

Chai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alaska swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chai trying to control the position from guard on top but Alaska is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Alaska can't keep his opponent in guard - Chai advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Chai is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Alaska is pressing down on Chai's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Alaska has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chai forces his way into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chai passes to side control.

Chai tries for a kimura but Alaska is defending well.
Chai trying to control the action but Alaska is working from the bottom.

Chai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Chai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alaska is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Alaska is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Chai is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Chai jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Alaska manages to avoid the submission attempt.
You can see the frustration on Alaska's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Chai works to advance to full mount. Alaska defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Chai prevents Alaska from getting the reversal.

Alaska tries to hold on but Chai postures up.
Chai pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Alaska is wriggling around trying to escape.

Chai is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Alaska is surviving well by controlling Chai's body position as best he can.
Alaska tries to reverse the position but Chai maintains control.
Alaska has given up his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chai is hanging on to Alaska's back as he tries to escape.
Alaska manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chai's guard. Nice work there by Alaska.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

CC Chai dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Chai lands a hook that snaps the head of Alaska backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Chai.
Chai digs a right hand underneath Alaska's ribcage. Alaska let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Chai working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Chai lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chai lands with a left to the head.
Alaska fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Chai tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chai successfully pulls guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chai trying to keep a closed guard but Alaska is proving a slippery customer.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chai holds on and takes a little breather.

Chai is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Alaska pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chai is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Alaska is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Chai has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alaska is looking to defend but Chai has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alaska! Chai pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alaska taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). CC Chai!
During a confident post fight interview, CC Chai thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
