And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Uvele Berendas! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Berendas shoots in but no luck this time. A momentary lapse in concentration from Innkeeper enables Berendas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Innkeeper manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Innkeeper (0) vs (2) Berendas Innkeeper keeping full guard, as Berendas tries to pass. Innkeeper not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Berendas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Innkeeper looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Berendas is looking to take a break and control but Innkeeper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Innkeeper is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Berendas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. That's five minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Innkeeper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Berendas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Innkeeper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Berendas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Innkeeper, who protects the arm well.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Berendas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Innkeeper has escaped the position, nice work there. Berendas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Innkeeper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Innkeeper tries to get out of the position. Berendas is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Innkeeper looks calm but he's in trouble here. Berendas gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Innkeeper is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Berendas lets go of the hold and Innkeeper can pop his arm back in it's socket.
