The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindholm misses with a head kick.
Lindholm looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lindholm misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lindholm throws a hook but Matti blocks it.
Matti is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lindholm with a body shot.

Lindholm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lindholm digs a good hook to Matti's body.
Lindholm pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Matti takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

A nice inside leg kick there by Matti. That's going to slow Lindholm down.

and Matti counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lindholm's knee momentarily.

Lindholm displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Matti throws out the jab.

Lindholm rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Matti counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lindholm scores with a sloppy right hand. Matti should have avoided that one.
Matti connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Matti scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lindholm doesn't seem bothered though.

Lindholm was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lindholm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looked like Lindholm wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Parta Matti will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lindholm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Matti has time to react.
Olli Lindholm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matti feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lindholm sprawling to the canvas! Lindholm rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Matti finish him?!

Oh Lindholm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lindholm is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Matti doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lindholm crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lindholm's bad books for that mishap!

In his post fight interview, Parta Matti started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
