Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orla Wanker (ranked 1798 p4p, 1579 weight class) and Vern Schullacks (ranked 248 p4p, 219 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wanker is defended easily by Schullacks.
Schullacks misses with a wild body shot.
Wanker shoots in and drives through. Schullacks sprawls well.
Schullacks takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A punch lands to the side of Wanker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schullacks has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Schullacks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wanker did well to prevent Schullacks getting side control.

Wanker has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Schullacks is on him like a limpet, forcing Wanker back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schullacks throws an overhand right that lands on Wanker's shoulder, as Wanker tries to avoid the shot.

It looks like Orla Wanker has been cut.
Schullacks takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wanker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schullacks.
Wanker walks into a stiff left hand from Schullacks.
Schullacks thuds his right hand into Wanker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Schullacks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wanker moves away.
Wanker drops down looking for a counter takedown but Schullacks sprawls and moves away.
Wanker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wanker shoots in looking for a takedown but Schullacks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wanker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wanker enables Schullacks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wanker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Oh but Wanker is tightening it up a little... Schullacks has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Schullacks reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Schullacks taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wanker!
