Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Ryan (ranked 1219 p4p, 2356 weight class) and Keith Seng (ranked 174 p4p, 294 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Ryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Seng!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seng throws a nice looking combination but Ryan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ryan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ryan lands a nice shot that snaps Seng's head back.

It looks like Keith Seng has been cut.
Seng has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Seng's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ryan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Seng scrambles back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryan. Seng does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little jabbing left from Seng on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ryan misses with a two punch combination.
Seng let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ryan.
Seng appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seng was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryan.
Seng follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Ryan darts in trying to clinch
and Seng connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Ryan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ryan gets the takedown into side control.
Ryan is staying tight to Seng's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Ryan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Seng, who protects the arm well.
Seng is trying to buck Ryan off.

Seng tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ryan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
An elbow from Ryan crashes against the mat.
Seng pushes Ryan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ryan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Seng tries to buck Ryan off but Ryan is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Seng's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Seng tries to escape but Ryan is in control.
Ryan trying to control the position but Seng is working away.
Ryan tries to advance to mount but Seng denies him.
Seng is trying to improve his position.

Seng is trying to buck Ryan off.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Ryan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ryan tries to move into range but Seng moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ryan throws a shot to the body.
Seng uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ryan.
Ryan throws a jab but it's blocked by Seng.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Seng! But no joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ryan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Seng circles away.
Seng throws a big counter head kick but Ryan avoids it with no problem.
Eddie Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryan staying out of range there.
Ryan misses with a takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ryan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Seng pushes Ryan off looking to stand but Ryan dives back in and keeps control.
Ryan is pressing down on Seng's thigh, looking to free his foot. Seng is holding on for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Seng is trying to control but can't.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Ryan dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Keith Seng's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ryan swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Seng counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ryan slips a straight right by Seng.
Ryan swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ryan is looking to wear down Seng with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ryan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Seng is fending him off so far but Ryan persists. Nope, Seng circles away and we're back to standing.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Despite the aggression on Seng's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ryan cracks Seng with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan misses with a body shot
and Seng counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Seng dodges the punch combination from Ryan.

Ryan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ryan throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Seng counter with a right hand.

It looks like Eddie Ryan has been cut.

Ryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Seng looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Seng is trying to improve his position.
Seng pushes Ryan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ryan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Seng can't do much from the bottom here.
Seng is trying to work for a sweep but Ryan has mounted him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seng is squirming around, avoiding Ryan's attempts to control the action.
Seng is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Seng wants to control but Ryan is having none of it.
Ryan takes Seng's back.
You can see the frustration on Seng's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ryan trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Seng doesn't escape.
Seng rolls, trying to escape but Ryan keeps control of the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Seng defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Seng wants to get back to his feet.
Ryan throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Ryan is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Seng has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Eddie Ryan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ryan biding his time, controlling Seng.

Seng turns into Ryan and is now in his guard.
Seng preventing the sweep.
Seng wants to get up but he can't break Ryan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Seng is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Seng must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Seng content to stall in guard here.
Ryan has a closed guard, preventing Seng from standing up.

Ryan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seng is aware though and is defending well.

Ryan is working an open guard so Seng takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ryan misses with a looping left.
Ryan just misses with a punch to the body.
Seng let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Ryan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ryan looks to score with a jab to the body but Seng is just out of range.
Seng throws a big shot that misses.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Keith Seng will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Ryan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Seng uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ryan.
Seng fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ryan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Seng misses with a shot to the body

and Ryan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Seng!
Seng is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ryan is controlling him well.
The ground and pound from Ryan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Seng is looking to regain half guard here but Ryan keeps moving and retains side control.
Ryan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Seng will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Ryan breaks Seng's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Seng is looking to stand up but Ryan isn't so interested in that idea.

Ryan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Poor strikes thrown by Ryan there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Seng holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ryan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Seng wants to hold on but Ryan pushes him away.
Seng tries to reverse the position but Ryan maintains control.

Ryan wants to take a breather but Seng is having none of it.

Seng pushes Ryan off looking to stand but Ryan dives back in and keeps control.

Ryan wants to work for an arm triangle but Seng is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Seng wants to get back to his feet.
Ryan not doing much here.
Seng is looking to control Ryan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Seng avoid being mounted?
Seng is trying to stand back up but Ryan is controlling him

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ryan is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ryan misses with a right hand
and Seng counters with a body kick that stops Ryan in his tracks momentarily.
Seng moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ryan connects with a nice looking jab.
Ryan slips under a jab.
Keith Seng is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ryan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Seng defending well as Ryan loads up on a big left hand.
Seng steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Ryan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Seng walks into a jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eddie Ryan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ryan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
