Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Minerva Wulf (ranked 726 p4p, 946 weight class) and Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 39 p4p, 53 weight class). Wulf comes to the cage accompanied by Sanctus Dominus. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wulf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ryokale did well to prevent Wulf getting side control.

We've been hearing good reports from Wulf's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Wulf swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ryokale is now in Wulf's guard. A big mistake from Wulf there, giving up the dominant position!
Wulf lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ryokale looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wulf is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ryokale holds on and takes a little breather.
Wulf trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryokale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ryokale has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wulf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wulf is pushing down on Ryokale's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ryokale is fighting to maintain full guard but Wulf has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ryokale escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wulf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ryokale throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wulf escapes and throws Ryokale's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Ryokale takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The cut above Ruddo Ryokale's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Wulf is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ryokale knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Minerva Wulf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wulf is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ryokale sees it coming and defends easily.
Wulf lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Ruddo Ryokale's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ruddo Ryokale's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
