Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Hedegaard (ranked 1115 p4p, 3747 weight class) and Peter Golles (ranked 160 p4p, 458 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Golles enables Hedegaard to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Golles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've been hearing that Hedegaard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Hedegaard has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Golles is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hedegaard yanks on the arm and Golles is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hedegaard.
