Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 3081 p4p, 5865 weight class) and Rocco Damato (ranked 297 p4p, 392 weight class). Damato has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karsten Koererlaerer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocco Damato!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damato closes the distance and clinches.
Koererlaerer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Damato gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Damato makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Damato takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Koererlaerer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Damato is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Koererlaerer.

Koererlaerer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Koererlaerer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Damato changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
