Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luis Maestre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Rader!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maestre throws a jab when Rader was well out of range.
Rader unleashes a big counter combination but Maestre bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Maestre bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rader's head.

It looks like Dennis Rader has been cut.
Rader displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maestre throws out the jab.
Rader throws a hook to the side of Maestre's head but Maestre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maestre clobbers Rader with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rader misses with a head kick.
Maestre throws the left hand but Rader avoids the punch easily.
Luis Maestre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maestre missing with a left hand there. Rader was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maestre throws an overhand right that lands on Rader's shoulder, as Rader tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maestre lands a slapping body shot.
Maestre misses with a wild body shot.
Maestre scores with a shot to the body.
Maestre throws a sloppy body shot
and Rader counters with a head kick. That will keep Maestre thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Maestre misses with a right hand
and Rader counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A jab from Rader misses.
Rader tries a head kick but it misses.
Maestre swinging wildly here.
Maestre misses the jab.
Maestre avoids the head kick by Rader.
Maestre throws a poor cross that misses
and Rader counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rader throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rader rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maestre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maestre was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Maestre throws a series of punches but Rader moves out of range.
Maestre lands a really nice looking cross but Rader seems unphased.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maestre lands a glancing blow to the side of Rader's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rader misses with a hook
enabling Maestre to counter with a crisp jab.

Maestre cracks Rader with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rader looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maestre finish him?

Rader is rocked!

Maestre feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rader sprawling to the canvas! Rader rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maestre finish him?!
Rader is still on wobbly legs! Can Maestre finish him?
Maestre definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Maestre misses the shot to the body.
Rader seems to have recovered his senses.

Maestre sends Rader crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Maestre is motioning to the referee to let Rader up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Rader is rocked!
Rader glances at the clock... BAM! Maestre nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Rader crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Rader is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luis Maestre!
Post fight, Luis Maestre took to the microphone: 'UPSET OF THE FUCKING YEAR BABY'.
