Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimitri Svyatogor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregory Motts!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motts misses with an uppercut
and Svyatogor counters with a stiff right hand.
Svyatogor takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Motts misses the shot to the body.
Motts drops Svyatogor with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Svyatogor looks back up at him and smiles so Motts waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Svyatogor is rocked!
It looks like Dimitri Svyatogor has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Motts engages and cracks Svyatogor with a massive lead left hook - Svyatogor tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Motts is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gregory Motts!
