Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biff Raper (ranked 1586 p4p, 1345 weight class) and Devin Hill (ranked 47 p4p, 67 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Biff Raper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Hill!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill moves into range and clinches up with Raper.
Raper can't find room to land a body shot as Hill controls the action.
Hill landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Raper on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Raper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hill showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Raper.

Hill shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Raper manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

My spies in 3Band MMA inform me that Hill has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Hill wants to counter with a clinch but Raper pushes him away.

Hill throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Raper throws a combination. Hill tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Raper moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off.
Hill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raper is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Hill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hill lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Raper takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hill misses with a hook. Raper ducked under it nicely.
No joy there for Raper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hill blocks a head kick by Raper.
Hill jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Raper takes one to the side of the head.
Hill has managed to clinch.
Raper throws an elbow but it misses.
Hill misses with a body punch.
Hill tries to land knees in the clinch but Raper avoids the damage to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hill just misses with a elbow thrown towards Raper's brow.

Raper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Raper moves into the clinch successfully.

Hill gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hill works his way into side control.
Raper is trying to improve his position.
Hill throws an elbow but Raper slips to the side and avoids it well.

Hill might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Raper haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hill is working to tighten his grip on Raper's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Raper has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hill is really squeezing tight and eventually Raper passes out! Hill breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After winning the bout, Devin Hill thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
