This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Diego Hageman! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 6 losses; Jake Barnes! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Barnes moves into range and clinches up with Hageman. Barnes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Barnes has Hageman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hageman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Barnes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hageman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Diego Hageman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Barnes. Barnes clinches up with Hageman and pushes him back against the cage.
