This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 7 losses; Gaston Cahute! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 2 losses; Gino Gambini!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gambini shoots in looking for a takedown but Cahute manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gambini's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gambini looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looks like Gambini might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Gambini takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gambini slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Let's hope that Gambini has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
