Rivera doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jack decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rivera's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Jack (2) vs (0) Rivera
Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rivera swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jack drops back looking for a leg! Rivera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rivera manages to kick Jack off! Jack jumps back into Rivera's guard.
Jack thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jack is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rivera looking for a guillotine here but Jack defends easily.
