Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Casey Silk (ranked 3753 p4p, 3042 weight class) and Rogerio Yamamoto (ranked 338 p4p, 289 weight class). Rogerio Yamamoto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Yamamoto lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Casey Silk has been cut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Yamamoto.
Yamamoto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Yamamoto lands a body punch.
Silk changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yamamoto fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Silk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yamamoto tries to avoid it but Silk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yamamoto to the ground. Yamamoto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silk misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silk throws a hook but Yamamoto avoids it easily.

Silk gets tackled into the cage by Yamamoto. Yamamoto maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silk tries for a takedown. No joy.

Silk has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Yamamoto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Casey Silk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Yamamoto comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Silk is rocked!

Jeez, Casey Silk's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Silk is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Yamamoto to keep the fight standing.
Oh Silk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yamamoto has Silk pressed against the cage. He pushes Silk back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Yamamoto throws a beautiful elbow that sends Silk crashing to the floor! Yamamoto piles on the pressure with more strikes! Silk is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
