Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roelof Gerritzen!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Gerritzen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gerritzen is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gerritzen tries to move into full mount but can't pass Anderson's legs.
Anderson struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson is not content to let Gerritzen control the position.

Gerritzen works to advance to full mount. Anderson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Gerritzen wants to control but instead Anderson manages to regain half guard.
Gerritzen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anderson is trying to maintain the position but Gerritzen is very close to passing his half guard.
Well, if Gerritzen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Gerritzen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Anderson tries to bum rush Gerritzen with a series of wild strikes but Gerritzen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gerritzen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Anderson misses with a double jab

and Gerritzen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Anderson!
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Gerritzen keeps moving and retains side control.
Gerritzen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Gerritzen tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Gerritzen takes a little break here. Anderson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Gerritzen is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Anderson is trying to work for a sweep but Gerritzen has mounted him!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Brownie Anderson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gerritzen has a takedown stuffed.
Anderson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Anderson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gerritzen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Anderson cracks Gerritzen with an open hand slap.

Gerritzen is rocked!
Brownie Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Anderson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gerritzen is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Anderson engages and cracks Gerritzen with a massive lead left hook - Gerritzen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Anderson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brownie Anderson!
Brownie Anderson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
