Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hermann Oestergaard (ranked 2869 p4p, 2163 weight class) and Cleetus Miller (ranked 374 p4p, 303 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermann Oestergaard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cleetus Miller! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oestergaard works Miller's body with a nice hook. Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oestergaard manages to avoid it. Oestergaard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard. We've been hearing that Oestergaard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Oestergaard throws a big right hand that misses. Miller wants to sweep but no luck. Oestergaard content to stall in guard here. Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Oestergaard drops back looking for a leg! Miller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miller manages to kick Oestergaard off! Oestergaard jumps back into Miller's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oestergaard preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Oestergaard's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Oestergaard won't allow Miller to get back to his feet. Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oestergaard scoring with some ground and pound. Oestergaard with a flurry of punches that miss. Oestergaard is working Miller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Oestergaard is proving a slippery customer.
Oestergaard is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Miller wants to get back to his feet but Oestergaard is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller keeping full guard, as Oestergaard tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cleetus Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Oestergaard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Miller misses the jab. Oestergaard lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A big right from Miller misses. The fighters circling - Miller throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Oestergaard tries to counter with a takedown but Miller is quick to defend against it. Oestergaard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Oestergaard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth. Oestergaard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Miller keeping moving, preventing Oestergaard from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oestergaard won't allow Miller to get back to his feet. Oestergaard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Oestergaard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miller being controlled here, momentarily. Oestergaard trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Oestergaard landing with the ground and pound. Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Oestergaard postures up in Miller's guard and throws a big left but Miller blocks it. Oestergaard wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Oestergaard is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Oestergaard postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Oestergaard trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hermann Oestergaard dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Miller misses with a head kick.
Miller gets caught napping as Oestergaard dives in and scores a takedown. Miller manages to retain guard. Miller is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Oestergaard dives into side control.
Miller is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Oestergaard has just dragged him back down to the mat. Oestergaard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Miller has escaped the position, nice work there. Oestergaard is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miller can do to turn this around? Oestergaard cracks Miller with a big right hand but Miller just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Miller wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

It looks like Cleetus Miller has been cut. Oestergaard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Oestergaard advances to mount. Oestergaard jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miller manages to avoid the submission attempt. Oestergaard wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oestergaard cracks Miller with an elbow. That is naaassty. Miller tries to escape but Oestergaard is in control. Oestergaard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Oestergaard tries for a kimura but Miller is defending well. Oestergaard works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Miller tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oestergaard lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Miller is rocked!
That has opened up Cleetus Miller's cut even more. Oestergaard postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Miller in real trouble here! The ref calls for Miller to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
