Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miyoshi Kazuhide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazuhide has chosen 'Samurai' by Shurik'n as his entrance music. Christopher Reefer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christopher Reefer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miyoshi Kazuhide!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reefer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kazuhide throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Reefer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kazuhide working a defensive guard but Reefer passes into half guard.
Reefer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kazuhide throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kazuhide tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reefer was well out of range. Poor timing from Kazuhide.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Reefer counters with a single leg into guard. Kazuhide didn't expect that.

Reefer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reefer prevents Kazuhide from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christopher Reefer dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kazuhide is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Reefer rather than just go for the knockout.

Christopher Reefer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reefer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Miyoshi Kazuhide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reefer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kazuhide!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Reefer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
