The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van-Plant has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lee.
Van-Plant shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well.
Lee with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Van-Plant is defended easily by Lee.
Van-Plant lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Van-Plant has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Van-Plant doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

And Lee responds with a good body kick, but Van-Plant manages to step out the way in time.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van-Plant connects with a right hand. Lee shakes it off.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Van-Plant avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lee has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Van-Plant dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Van-Plant's head and hops out.

Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van-Plant blocks a head kick by Lee.

Lee lands a big head kick that sends Van-Plant tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Van-Plant back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rico Van-Plant has been cut.

Oh Van-Plant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Van-Plant misses with a hook to the body
and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lee feints a jab and as Van-Plant dips his head, Lee unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Van-Plant right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Van-Plant falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Lee smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
