Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Carden (ranked 24490 p4p, 24488 weight class) and Ty Little (ranked 488 p4p, 479 weight class). Carden's entrance music is Simple Man. A fine choice. Thomas Carden had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Little!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little throws the left hand but Carden avoids the punch easily.

and Carden holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Carden keeps control of Little as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Little has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Little tries to land a front kick but Carden steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The fighters circle momentarily. Carden darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

I would just about give that final round to Ty Little.
I think Little has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Ty Little started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Thomas Carden had this to say: 'It was a rough night out here, hats off to my opponent. Ima head back to the farm and get back to work. I ain't going out like this again. '.
