And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Larry Baker! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Baker gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Susskind prevents a takedown attempt there.
Susskind definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Susskind prevents the takedown attempt.
Baker is trying to pull guard but Susskind turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Leonard Susskind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Baker. Susskind is looking to take this one to the mat. Susskind has Baker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Baker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Baker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Baker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Susskind slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Susskind tries to free his leg and advance position but Baker is retaining full guard. Baker looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Susskind knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baker on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker pushes a forearm under Susskind's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Susskind is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
