This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 35 wins and 34 losses; Able Archer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 12 losses; Ace Rob!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Archer clinches up with Rob and pushes him back against the cage.
Rob has Archer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Archer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We've been hearing good reports from Archer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

I really don't envy Rob right now.

Archer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Rob has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
