This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 35 wins and 34 losses; Able Archer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 12 losses; Ace Rob! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Archer clinches up with Rob and pushes him back against the cage. Rob has Archer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Archer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Archer pulls guard successfully.
Archer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rob trying to control but Archer is working from the bottom. Archer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rob controls the pace. Rob wants to control from the top but Archer keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Archer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Archer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Archer is on top in guard.
