And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond King!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prescott avoids the head kick by King.
Prescott fires out a quick counter leg kick but King just manages to avoid it.
Prescott throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
King throws a right and a left that both miss.
Prescott scores with a hook to the body. King takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A shot to the liver by Prescott. Beautiful body shot.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Raymond King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prescott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Prescott scores with a crisp jab that stopped King in his tracks.
A big left from Prescott misses.
Prescott blocks a head kick by King.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Prescott looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
King takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

King's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Prescott lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of King backwards.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

King rushes Prescott and presses him up against the cage.

King has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

King throws a left and a right that both miss
and Prescott counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Prescott delivers a nice body kick.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Prescott avoids a punch combination nicely.
King uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Prescott.
Prescott looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Prescott lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.
Prescott connects with an inside leg kick.
Prescott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
King looks winded!
Prescott thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on King if he has to take too many more of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Prescott. King does a little dance to reset his feet.

King throws a head kick but Prescott moves out of range.

King throws a counter combo.

The fighters circle momentarily. Prescott darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
King avoids the body shot from Prescott.
Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing.
King loads up on a big right hand but Prescott slips the punch.

A big head kick from Prescott and King is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Raymond King has been cut.

Prescott decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Prescott lands an uppercut out of nowhere! King falls backwards - clearly groggy! Prescott dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Prescott!
An out of breath Pete Prescott thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
