The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Pulu.
Pulu misses with an attempted mid kick.

Juncker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pulu wants to get back to his feet.
Juncker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Pulu controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Juncker trying to control from half guard but Pulu is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulu wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Juncker is thwarting Pulu's attempts to control the position.
Pulu manages to get to full guard.

Juncker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Juncker drops back looking for a leg! Pulu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pulu manages to kick Juncker off! Juncker jumps back into Pulu's guard.
Pulu controls Juncker momentarily but Juncker frees himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Juncker looking to pass the guard.
Juncker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Juncker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Juncker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pulu misses with a low kick.

Juncker moves into the clinch.
Pulu tries to pull guard but Juncker holds him up against the cage and eventually Pulu drops back down to his feet.

Juncker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Pulu avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Pulu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Juncker working for a triangle but Pulu defends it easily.
Juncker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Juncker wants to stand and escape but Pulu is having none of it.
Pulu won't allow Juncker to sweep him here.
Pulu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Juncker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pulu manages to get himself to full guard.

Pulu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Juncker is one step ahead there.
Pulu is still trying to improve position.
Pulu pulls Juncker in close to his closed guard and prevents Juncker from doing any damage or advancing position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pulu has a closed guard, preventing Juncker from standing up.

Gaston Juncker showed his dominance in that final round.
