Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Claudio Huaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakim Hamsho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huaman comes to the cage accompanied by *S*F*O* COMMENTATOR SUCKS ASS!!!. Hamsho has chosen Jump Around as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Claudio Huaman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hakim Hamsho!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamsho listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Donk. Hamsho catches Huaman right on the button with a cross.

Hamsho shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Huaman's guard.
Huaman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Huaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamsho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Huaman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hamsho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Huaman wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Huaman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hamsho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hamsho is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huaman keeping moving, preventing Hamsho from controlling successfully.

Huaman doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hamsho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Huaman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Huaman there as he acknowledges the shot.

Huaman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hamsho is aware though and is defending well.

Hamsho gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Hamsho changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Huaman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hamsho lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hamsho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huaman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Huaman has a takedown stuffed.
Huaman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hamsho lands with a right hand.
Hamsho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hamsho stuffs the takedown attempt from Huaman. Huaman gets slowly back to his feet.
Huaman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hamsho avoids it really well and circles away.

Hamsho works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Huaman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hamsho sprawls well. Hamsho wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huaman gets slowly back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hamsho, as that shot connected.

Hamsho lands a jab-cross combination.
Huaman shoots in looking for a takedown. Hamsho tries to sprawl out of it but Huaman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hamsho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Huaman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hamsho defends it nicely.
A left lands for Hamsho.

Hamsho throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hamsho misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hamsho throws a series of punches but Huaman avoids them all with ease.
Huaman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Hamsho scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hamsho thumps Huaman with a low kick.

and Hamsho counters with a one-two to the body.
Hamsho works the jab nicely.
Hamsho defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Huaman.

Hamsho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Huaman was covering up waiting for the punch and Hamsho finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hamsho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hamsho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Huaman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hamsho is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Huaman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hamsho's back instead.

Hakim Hamsho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hamsho feints and as Huaman raises his hands in defense, Hamsho changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hamsho wants to control from the top but Huaman keeps moving.
Hakim Hamsho is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Huaman is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hamsho has his hands clasped together but Huaman extends an breaks Hamsho's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Huaman.
