And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Helio Flacide!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineapple closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pineapple lands in his opponent's guard.
Pineapple has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Flacide bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pineapple's guard.
Flacide working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Pineapple is trying to control the position but Flacide postures up.
Flacide won't allow Pineapple to sweep him here.
Pineapple knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flacide on the ground.
Flacide works over Pineapple with some ground and pound from guard.
Flacide pushes down on Pineapple's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Flacide is trying for a kimura here. Pineapple looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Flacide wins by kimura!
