Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miyata San (ranked 1278 p4p, 1431 weight class) and Bartholomew Slice (ranked 133 p4p, 149 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Miyata San!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bartholomew Slice!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slice.
Slice uses good head movement to avoid the hook from San.
San slips under a jab.
Slice throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Slice has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slice scores with a jab.
San throws a shot from downtown. Slice moves away and avoids it.
San throws out a loose jab but Slice uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slice tests San's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Slice connects with a body shot.
Slice throws a looping overhand right but San ducks down to avoid it.
Slice throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
San has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slice finds it's way round the side to connect with San's head.

San gets caught flat footed, as Slice shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
San lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells San's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
San works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Slice tries to roll over but San keeps him under control.
San looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Slice with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
San seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Slice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. San is working away from the top position though.

San is nestled in close to Slice, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bartholomew Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice sizes up San with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
San slips under a jab.
Slice seems to have recovered his senses.

The fighters circle momentarily. Slice darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
San throws a shot from downtown. Slice moves away and avoids it.
San shoots in but Slice avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little jabbing left from Slice on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

San cracks Slice with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

and Slice is countered with a crisp right hand from San that sends him to the canvas! San follows him to the mat into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
San in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Slice looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! San turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miyata San!
After winning the bout, Miyata San thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
