Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24549 p4p, 24465 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buktot swivels and escapes. Buktot throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bitok avoids it. Buktot leaves Bitok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bitok has a takedown stuffed. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot shoots in for a takedown but Bitok shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown but Bitok manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buktot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buktot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bitok is fending him off so far but Buktot persists. Nope, Bitok circles away and we're back to standing. Bitok fails with the takedown. Bitok feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bitok wants to control from the top but Buktot keeps moving. Bitok showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buktot holds on and takes a little breather. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bitok showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bitok stuffs the takedown attempt from Buktot. Buktot gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Bitok is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buktot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok tries for a takedown but Buktot circles away easily and Buktot counters with a nice kick to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Bitok dives in for a single leg takedown but Buktot sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bitok closes the distance and clinches up with Buktot, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes Buktot against the cage but Buktot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok has a takedown stuffed. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot with a poor takedown and Bitok counters with a good, hard body kick but Buktot shrugs it off. Buktot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy body kick from Bitok and Buktot counters with a three punch combo that has Bitok backing up. Bitok nods at Buktot to acknowledge the strikes. Bitok stuffs the takedown. Bitok is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Buktot shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buktot sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bitok is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot controlling the action here. Bitok trying to control but Buktot postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bitok is trying to get back to full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Bitok is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Buktot jumps into side control! Buktot working the strikes but Bitok uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Bitok tries to roll over but Buktot keeps him under control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Bitok closes the distance and clinches up with Buktot, looking for a takedown. Bitok pushes Buktot against the cage but Buktot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Buktot thinks about countering with a body kick. Bitok blocks the body kick.
Bitok replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buktot blocks it well. No luck for Bitok with that takedown attempt. Buktot drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bitok sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt - Bitok sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kulata Bitok. Bitok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Buktot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bitok perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Buktot is controlling Bitok's position as best he can from this difficult position. Bitok trying to control the pace. Bitok is continuing to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bitok controlling the position well. Buktot slows the pace down in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Dawindi Buktot showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
