Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tate Stinforn (ranked 5240 p4p, 5101 weight class) and Fernand Legrand (ranked 0 p4p, 540 weight class). Stinforn comes to the cage accompanied by Jefferson Starship - Jane. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tate Stinforn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fernand Legrand! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stinforn scores with a shot to the body.
Legrand with a poor takedown and Stinforn counters with a low kick, right behind Legrand 's knee. Stinforn throws a sloppy head kick and Legrand moves out of range easily. Stinforn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Legrand. Stinforn connects with a high kick.
It looks like Fernand Legrand has been cut. Legrand misses with a takedown and Stinforn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Legrand fails with a takedown attempt. Tate Stinforn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernand Legrand. Stinforn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Legrand is trying to defend but Stinforn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stinforn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stinforn is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Legrand looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stinforn controlling the pace. Stinforn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stinforn prevents Legrand from standing back up.
Stinforn is nestled in close to Legrand, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Stinforn sitting and controlling from the half guard. Stinforn closes the distance looking for a takedown. Legrand stuffs it but Stinforn still has hold of him. Stinforn picks Legrand up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Stinforn slams Legrand to the floor and that's really hurt Legrand - he doesn't know where he is! Stinforn throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
