Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Lindsey (ranked 4301 p4p, 24420 weight class) and Minatay Mibangon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindsey comes to the cage accompanied by Homecoming. Daniel Lindsey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Minatay Mibangon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mibangon but Mibangon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mibangon follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lindsey.
Lindsey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mibangon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lindsey somewhat.

Lindsey has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mibangon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lindsey.

Mibangon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lindsey's guard.
Lindsey wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mibangon manages to pass to side control.

And Mibangon responds with a good body kick, but Lindsey manages to step out the way in time.

Mibangon replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Lindsey blocks it well.

Well Mibangon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
