Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oscar Gage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jørgen Thrane!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrane looks to land a combination but Gage avoids it well.
Thrane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thrane looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gage definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thrane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gage's hands.
Gage throws out a loose jab but Thrane uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Thrane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gage looks for a takedown but Thrane sprawls well.
Thrane looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Thrane throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thrane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thrane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

and Thrane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Oscar Gage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thrane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gage is working for a kimura but Thrane is defending it quite comfortably.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Thrane looks to land a combination but Gage avoids it well.
Gage shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Thrane throws a combination. Gage tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gage is trying to drag Thrane to the mat but Thrane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gage has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Thrane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Gage is persistently looking for the submission but Thrane is defending it well.

Gage drops down looking for a counter takedown but Thrane sprawls and moves away.

Gage throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thrane was covering up waiting for the punch and Gage finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Thrane wants to sweep here but Gage controlling him for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters circling - Gage throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Thrane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Thrane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gage manages to avoid it.

A close second round but Jørgen Thrane will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like Oscar Gage has been cut.
Thrane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Gage counters with a nice double leg into side control. Thrane won't be happy with that.
Thrane is looking for a sweep.

Gage is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Thrane knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gage throws a strike aimed at the side of Thrane's head but Thrane avoids it well.

Gage goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Thrane rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gage's guard! Nice work there by Thrane!

Gage has his foot on Thrane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thrane works his way back into a safe position though.

Gage seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Thrane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thrane has managed to get both his arms back between Gage's legs - danger averted.
Gage controls Thrane momentarily but Thrane frees himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Thrane appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Gage jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Thrane throws a nice inside leg kick.
Thrane connects with a jab.
Gage tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Thrane counters with a low kick, right behind Gage 's knee.
Gage fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Thrane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gage has time to react.
Gage has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thrane.
Gage drops his hands momentarily and Thrane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Thrane moves out of range of the strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A solid leg kick lands there for Thrane.
Gage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thrane can pounce on him.

Jørgen Thrane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Thrane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
