Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 35 p4p, 192 weight class) and Juanito Escobar (ranked 4 p4p, 28 weight class). Todd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Piano Man. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juanito Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Escobar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. Todd tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Todd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Escobar isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Todd stacks Escobar on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Todd!

Todd cracks Escobar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Escobar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Todd finish him?

Escobar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Todd to the mat! Todd manages to get full guard.
Todd has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Escobar has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can Todd finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Escobar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Todd's elbow.
Escobar seems to have recovered his senses.

Escobar lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Todd backwards.

Todd fakes the body blow, causing Escobar to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Escobar goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Winston Todd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
