Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krasimir Mihaylov (ranked 4318 p4p, 4285 weight class) and Gavrilo Jovanovic (ranked 158 p4p, 132 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Jovanovic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mihaylov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Mihaylov is really struggling to control Jovanovic but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Mihaylov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jovanovic defends it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mihaylov moves out of range of the strikes.

Mihaylov is looking to counter punch.

Gavrilo Jovanovic dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mihaylov throws a hook to the side of Jovanovic's head but Jovanovic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jovanovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Mihaylov tries to sprawl out of it but Jovanovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Mihaylov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A little feinted left hand from Mihaylov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jovanovic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mihaylov was covering up waiting for the punch and Jovanovic finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mihaylov looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jovanovic passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Mihaylov's face as Jovanovic controls the position.

Mihaylov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mihaylov tries to get out of the position.
Jovanovic is continuing to stall.

Jovanovic looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mihaylov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jovanovic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mihaylov's guard.

Jovanovic has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mihaylov is looking for a triangle here but Jovanovic uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Jovanovic is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mihaylov seems a little lost for a moment, as Jovanovic dominates the positioning.
Mihaylov is trying to control Jovanovic's posture but Jovanovic avoids it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jovanovic controls the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mihaylov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mihaylov tests Jovanovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Gavrilo Jovanovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jovanovic winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
