The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Joon shoots in looking for a takedown but Solo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Joon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Solo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Joon fails with the takedown.
Solo darts in and clinches Joon up against the cage.
Joon tries to pull guard but Solo won't allow it.
Hand Solo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mae Joon.
Joon is trying to drag Solo to the mat but Solo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Joon can't get the takedown.
Solo drags the fight down to the ground.
Joon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Solo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Solo defends it easily.

Joon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Solo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Solo drops back looking for a leg! Joon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joon manages to kick Solo off! Solo jumps back into Joon's guard.
Solo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joon is looking to cinch up a triangle. Solo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Joon's body to avoid the submission. Joon has instead reached around Solo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Joon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
