Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23474 p4p, 23589 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 44 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 51 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter A, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes Fighter A against the cage but Fighter A circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A feinted with a counter takedown. Fighter B shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter A is trying to defend but Fighter B finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter B from advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A continues to stall. Fighter B is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fighter A controlling the position well. Fighter A wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to avoid it but Fighter B manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter A to the ground. Fighter A escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B goes for a double leg but Fighter A avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter A continues to drive forward. Fighter A was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Fighter B shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter B showed some decent athleticism there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A keeping hold of Fighter B's head, controlling as best he can. Fighter B is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fighter A has managed to free his arm - good work. Fighter A blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fighter B.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A desperately trying to maintain half guard. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet. Fighter B not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A keeping hold of Fighter B's head, controlling as best he can.

Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Fighter B looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter A is fending him off so far but Fighter B persists. Nope, Fighter A circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A looking to score a takedown here. Fighter B is defending well but Fighter A drives through and ends up in Fighter B's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B trying to control the position.
Fighter A is stalling in the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B is trying to control the position but Fighter A postures up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A fails with the takedown. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter A sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt and Fighter A counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fighter B trying to control the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B seems keen to control Fighter A's posture. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Fighter A bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fighter A working away. Fighter A controlling the position from side mount. Fighter A working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B trying to remain calm as Fighter A controls from the top position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighter B is looking to reverse the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter A gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fighter A being controlled here momentarily. Fighter A showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fighter A is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B is trying to keep Fighter A in close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter A, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes Fighter A against the cage but Fighter A circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
