Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Drosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Drosen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Parker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drosen lands with a slapping head kick.

Drosen darts in and clinches Parker up against the cage.
Parker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Drosen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Drosen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drosen throws a head kick that Parker semi-blocks.

Drosen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Drosen working the ground and pound but Parker is defending the strikes.
Parker gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Parker wants to get back to full guard.
Drosen is pressing down on Parker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parker is holding on for now.
Drosen blocks the strikes from Parker.

Parker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drosen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Drosen wants to stand but Parker is controlling his posture from full guard.
Drosen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Drosen wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.

Drosen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Drosen wants to get up but he can't break Parker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parker controls Drosen momentarily but Drosen frees himself.
Parker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Drosen's guard.

Drosen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Parker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Drosen is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.
Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drosen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drosen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Parker stops Drosen from standing up.
Drosen controls Parker momentarily but Parker frees himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Drosen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Parker.
Parker throws a combination. Drosen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Parker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Drosen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Parker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Drosen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Parker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Drosen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Parker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Drosen's back instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Parker takes a kick to the side of the head.
Drosen connects with a high kick.
Drosen throws a head kick but Parker moves out of range.
Parker wants to clinch but Drosen slips to the side

and Drosen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drosen.
Drosen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Drosen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Parker is breathing heavily.
Parker keeping moving, preventing Drosen from controlling successfully.

Parker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Drosen!

Parker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Drosen manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Drosen is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Parker is controlling him well.
Drosen tries to bench press Parker off him but Parker keeps the position.

Parker decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Drosen gets a clinch.

Drosen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Parker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Parker throws a leg kick that is checked

and Drosen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Parker!

Drosen breaks from Parker's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Parker is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Parker is staying active underneath Drosen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Drosen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Drosen is looking for a kimura but Parker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drosen to get the leverage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Drosen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Parker's head.

Drosen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Drosen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Parker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drosen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Parker throws a series of punches but Drosen moves out of range.

and Drosen counters by moving into the clinch.

Drosen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Drosen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Parker's head.

Drosen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Drosen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Parker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Drosen looking to control but Parker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Drosen looking to finish Parker with some ground and pound. This is bad for Parker!
Drosen avoids the attempt from Parker to control.

Parker takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Drosen is sitting in close to Parker's body. Parker has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Drosen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Drosen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Parker.
