Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Aleksandar Kajmakoski!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouleau slips a jab and a cross from Kajmakoski.
No joy there for Kajmakoski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kajmakoski tries to clinch there but Bouleau circles away.

Bouleau drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bouleau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kajmakoski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bouleau is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Bouleau instigates a clinch.

Bouleau tightens his grip and picks Kajmakoski up, before dumping him to the ground. Kajmakoski manages to land in guard.

Bouleau is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kajmakoski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kajmakoski has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kajmakoski decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bouleau, up you get!

Good leg kick by Bouleau there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Bouleau counters by clinching up.
Bouleau keeps control of Kajmakoski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bouleau has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kajmakoski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Kajmakoski is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bouleau gets his way!
Bouleau is not going to allow Kajmakoski to sit and survive in this position.

Kajmakoski takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
