Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinicius lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like ryan rippa has been cut.
Vinicius moves into the clinch.
rippa is trying to break the clinch but Vinicius has him pressed against the cage.
rippa tries to score a body lock takedown but Vinicius shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

rippa wants to break free but Vinicius has control.
Vinicius lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
rippa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Vinicius prevents it.
Vinicius's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vinicius closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

rippa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vinicius is fending him off so far but rippa persists. Nope, Vinicius circles away and we're back to standing.

Mark Vinicius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ryan rippa.
Vinicius has hold of one of rippa's legs. rippa is fighting the takedown attempt but Vinicius gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
