The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice leg kick from Kingston, right into the meat of the thigh.
Good shot there by Kingston.
Kingston attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kingston's corner calls for a 1-2. Kingston obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wright takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

It looked like Wright was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kingston.

Kingston fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wright has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kingston has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wright manages to avoid it.
Wright throws a counter high kick but Kingston was just alert enough to avoid it.
Kingston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wright was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Kingston will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kingston is rocked!
Kingston looks up at the clock. Bad move! Wright lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kingston. Wright pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

A relieved looking Cleon Wright thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
