The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abakumov tries to avoid it but Valentine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abakumov to the ground. Abakumov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Valentine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
