Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Pauli (ranked 2633 p4p, 2775 weight class) and Cooper Cartwright (ranked 309 p4p, 324 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wolfgang Pauli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cooper Cartwright!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pauli.
Pauli lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cartwright at a distance.
Pauli lands a body shot.
Cartwright throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pauli connects with a jab.
Pauli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cartwright.
Pauli takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Some bone on bone action there as Pauli checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slow jab from Pauli misses its intended target.
Cartwright tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Pauli drops Cartwright with a beautiful combination! Cartwright stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pauli is looking for the KO!

It looks like Cooper Cartwright has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cartwright throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pauli's waist but Pauli gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cartwright off to one side.
Pauli appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Cartwright's coach down at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cartwright's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cartwright will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cartwright is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Pauli looks to score with a jab to the body but Cartwright is just out of range.
Pauli lands a jab to Cartwright's midsection.
Pauli stuffs the takedown attempt from Cartwright. Cartwright gets slowly back to his feet.
Wolfgang Pauli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cooper Cartwright.
Cartwright looks winded!
Cartwright has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cartwright there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've been told by Pauli's head coaches at Monkey Magic that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pauli fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Pauli cracks Cartwright with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cartwright looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pauli finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pauli walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cartwright drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pauli swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cartwright's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
