The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro clobbers Sabatory with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Lou Sabatory has been cut.
Sabatory shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Castro sprawls well. Castro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sabatory gets slowly back to his feet.
Sabatory misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lou Sabatory seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Castro gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Castro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Castro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Castro manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Castro.
Castro pushes Sabatory back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up Lou Sabatory's cut even more.

Castro is pushing Sabatory up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Castro.

Castro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sabatory throws a wild hook but Castro just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Sabatory gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Castro raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
