PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic (ranked 1954 p4p, 2138 weight class) and The Maan (ranked 238 p4p, 269 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobrosavljevic throws a hook to the side of Maan's head but Maan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dobrosavljevic.
Dobrosavljevic throws the left hand but Maan avoids the punch easily.
Dobrosavljevic misses with a straight right.
A nice side step and Maan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Maan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

That was a close round but I would say that Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic will probably get the nod.

Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maan's coach down at BKC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Maan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

As Maan backs away, Dobrosavljevic returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
