Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deniz Uzun (ranked 2591 p4p, 3661 weight class) and Rocky Hampton (ranked 325 p4p, 410 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deniz Uzun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocky Hampton! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton lands a head kick!
Sloppy strikes from Hampton. Those never looked like landing. Hampton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Uzun counters with a lovely straight right hand! Uzun lands a nice shot to the body.
Hampton darts in and clinches Uzun up against the cage. Uzun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Uzun has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hampton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. No luck for Hampton with that takedown attempt. Hampton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hampton shoots in for a double leg but Uzun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Deniz Uzun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Hampton. Uzun fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hampton lands with a kick to the ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uzun lands a lovely overhand right. Uzun fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Deniz Uzun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hampton misses with a takedown attempt - Uzun sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hampton shoots in for a double leg but Uzun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hampton slips a jab and a cross from Uzun.
Hampton throws a counter combo. Uzun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hampton. Hampton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uzun as he jumps to the side. Uzun throws a hook but Hampton blocks it. Uzun falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hampton counters with a left and a right that stings Uzun. A cross from Uzun lands.
Hampton is rocked! Hampton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uzun tries to avoid it but Hampton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uzun to the ground. Uzun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hampton is still on wobbly legs! Can Uzun finish him? Hampton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uzun.
Uzun drops Hampton with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hampton! Uzun dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deniz Uzun!
