The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sadewa dips to his left and cracks Hassan with an uppercut!
It looks like Abdi Hassan has been cut. Some wild striking there from Sadewa.
Sadewa throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hassan counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sadewa can do anything to dispel that myth. Sadewa flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hassan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sadewa tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hassan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Abdi Hassan!
