Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 24668 p4p, 24345 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots for a double leg takedown but Amiga sprawls well. He's pushed Salvacion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Amiga drives through with a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A quick step to the side and Amiga tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tapad Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Amiga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Salvacion sneaks out the side door and pushes Amiga away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Salvacion gets caught napping as Amiga dives in and scores a takedown. Salvacion manages to retain guard.
Richard John Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tapad Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Amiga is fighting to break Salvacion's control of his arms but Salvacion is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Richard John Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Amiga has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
