Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Soren Hansen (ranked 1533 p4p, 2533 weight class) and Finn Faustins (ranked 206 p4p, 314 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by If I had a heart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hansen clinches up with Faustins and pushes him back against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hansen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hansen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Faustins manages to get back to half guard.
Hansen stops Faustins from getting back to his feet.
Hansen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hansen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hansen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hansen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hansen winds up and cracks Faustins with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Faustins wants to control but Hansen is keeping busy.
Hansen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Faustins reverses the position - he's now on top in Hansen's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Faustins is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Hansen manages to get to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Faustins looking to sit in guard and control but Hansen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hansen wants to pass the guard but Faustins is keeping the position.

Hansen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Faustins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Faustins has escaped and now he's on top!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Faustins stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Hansen has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Faustins manages to get his head free but now Hansen has transitioned to an armbar! Faustins grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Hansen! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
